Overland Park Construction Projects

The good news is that traffic around 159th & Pflumm -- the primary route to Heritage Park Football Complex -- should be improved upon the completion of a roundabout ... the bad news is ... the intersection of 159th and Pflumm will be closed to facilitate construction of the roundabout in early 2020. The City of Overland Park's contractor is scheduled to complete the roundabout no later than August 11, 2020, and open the intersection to public traffic.

Reconstruction of 159th Street from Pflumm to Quivira is also scheduled for 2020 -- anticipated to be completed by November 1, 2020. Detours for 159th Street are primarily Quivira north of 159th, 151st Street and Blackbob/Lackman.

Spring football participants should plan to enter the complex by entering Heritage Park off of Blackbob/Lackman at about 162nd Street. OR by the south off of 175th Street and Pflumm.
