In a game that presented GPU first real challenge, GPU again won convincingly over Drill for Skill, with the final score not being indicative of the GPU’s control of the game throughout. Winning by a score of 59-48, three GPU players scored in double figures - Colin McLinden (13) Keeno Arrington (12) Austin Wigley (10).  With the victory, GPU continued its double-digit win margin.

In a game that truly representing the unselfish talent on this roster, 5 players scored in double figures leading the team to a 23-point victory.  Austin Wigley led the team in scoring with 14 points, followed by Thomas (12) Isaiah (12) Alex (10) and Keeno (10).

Rarely will one witness an offensive explosion like the one displayed by the GPU Steelrivers who scored 69 points for the game and 38 in the first half.  The game’s MVP without question was Patrick McLachlan who scored team-season high 18 points, and did so in memorable “in-the-zone” like fashion!  This game was undoubtedly dominated in the first half by the “big” players on GPU’s roster - 6”1” Isaiah Scribner scored 16 points (14 in the first half) and 6’2” Thomas Melonja scored 12 points (all in the first half).

versus the Pittsburgh Legends, GPU had legendary defense, holding a team with offensive capabilities to just 20 points.  Everyone scored, led by Thomas with 11 points.  Simply a game of legendary defense.

Game 10- Win GPU SKILLS CHALLENGE GPU vs. Drill for Skill Final Score GPU 61 Drill for Skill 34

In a rematch against Drills for Skills who only loss by 11 during its first meeting with GPU, GPU cruised to a 27 point blowout.  The most impressive stat - 41 second half point and outscoring its opponent in the last 8 minutes of the game 31-5.  Yep, 31 points in the last 8 minutes of the game with a running clock.
